Rebecca grew up in Ottawa and discovered textiles in Nepal. She is captivated by the lushness, radiance, and opulence of fabric.
For Rebecca the worlds of design and art revolve around vital dichotomies: global and local, multi-coloured and plain, textured and smooth. She finds inspiration in a mosaic of travels, organic environments, and the visual and tactile worlds. Travel continues to enthuse Rebecca. In 2008 Rebecca lived, worked, and explored textile design in England, Rome, and Paris.
